Church House, Pontefract

Although there are two front doors here, the one on the left is not used and the right hand one gives access by a porch to two rooms. The public bar is straight ahead, and I didn't go in the other room. There's no real ale, so it was back on the John Smiths Smooth Crap for me, this one being the equivalent of £3.40/pint. There's live sport on TV, a juke box, darts and pool; outside there's a beer garden with children's play equipment (no children allowed after 8pm). Date of visit: 27th September 2023
