Cross Keys, Liversedge

A dining pub a little walk, or bus ride, from the centre of town. Observing that this part of Liversedge is called Hightown, a potential walker must draw the obvious conclusion. There were three hand pumps to be seen on a Tuesday afternoon, with Black Sheep Best and Wainwright Gold available. The Black Sheep was ok (NBSS 3) but the "background" music was thudding. WiFi was available, but "ask at the bar" was not advice that I was prepared to take in the presence of this aural assault and I soon retreated to the relative calm of the A649 Date of Visit: 13th February 2024
