The Lord Addingham, Ilkley

A well run locals free house pub with a friendly and chatty landlord. The interior is comfortable and had a homely feel. A fire was lit at the far end of the bar area and a large TV was showing some sport at a reasonable volume. Two ales on handpump TT Landlord and Tetleys.

The Sailor is a stand alone pub that is situated on Addinghams very quiet high street. Once inside there is a single L shaped room with the bar facing,the seating is bench type to the front right and normal tables and chairs,there is a pool table to the front left and there is a small area to the rear left which may be used has a dining area,the seating here is high backed chairs. The room is carpeted throughout,there was a TV to the front right showing the Huddersfield v Leeds game. There were three real ales on the bar,i had a drink of Ghost Brew Co Wraith,which was a very nice drink,the other beers were Taylor Landlord and John Smiths Cask. Food was being served on my Saturday dinner visit,the dishes i noticed looked quite nice. This is a decent enough pub that would suit most types of customers. Pub visited 7/11/2015
