Westgate 23, Heckmondwike

Westgate 23 is a new venture which is situated in the middle of Heckmondwike. Once inside there is a single L shaped room with the bar facing,the front right area has a laminate floor and a couple of normal tables and chairs,the left side is carpeted and has more normal tables and chairs,plus a couple of tall tables and chairs,there are TVs to the front right and rear right which were showing a music channel at a loud volume. There were four real ales on the bar,i had a drink of Clarks Classic Blonde which went down very well,the other beers i noted were Taylor Landlord,Black Sheep bitter,and beer called Atlantic Hop. If you like loud wallpaper then this is the place to see it. This is a decent enough pub with some decent real ales on the bar. Note: it does not open until 3 in the afternoon. Pub visited 2/1/2015

Run of the mill town centre pub,which had a decent pint of Thwaites Nutty Black on my last visit.
