The Park Tavern, Chichester

Odd-looking Fullers (formerly Gales) outlet located on a pleasant street corner opposite the park. Ales were HSB, Pride, Seafarers and a guest (Adnams Bitter). My Seaferers was ok if unmemorable. It was pretty busy on my visit, with a more robust clientèle than most of the other Chichester pubs we visited. Aside from the fairy lanterns everywhere, there were one or two interesting features - a lampshade made out of hats and a set of four mounted skulls belonging to a type of horned mammal. Live music advertised. Didn’t see the bar billiards table noted elsewhere though I wasn't able to fully explore. Not a bad stop this one, ideal for a summer’s day.
