The Windmill, Burgess Hill

The Windmill is a U shaped pub with a bar that is stocked with standard draught products. It also supports three hand pumps that were drawing Harvey’s Best, Doom Bar and Young’s Special when I visited on Tuesday evening last week. To the left of the bar is a pool table, dartboard and a plasma screen that was showing rolling news. I didn’t spot any Sky Sports advertisements, but some background music was playing in competition with the sound from the TV. To the right of the bar is a fruit machine and the main body of seating. Food is served and the roasts on Sundays cost £9 and are served between noon and 14:30. Children are more than welcome and there are nappy changing facilities. There is a decked seating area to the right of the pub. I found the service in here to be friendly and I’d pop back in if passing.
