The Watermill Inn, Burgess Hill

The Water Mill Inn is a stone’s throw from Wivelsfield Railway Station and is open until midnight every night except Friday and Saturday when it is open until 1:00. There is live music every Friday night, poker every Wednesday and a quiz on Thursdays. The bar area is L shaped with a couple of plasma screens and bar billiards. There is a large extension to the right that houses another plasma screen, a pool table and two dartboards. Sky Sports is shown and the Carling Cup semi-final was being watched by a few locals. The bar is stocked with standard draught and two banks of four hand pumps were drawing Cornish Coaster, Harvey’s Best and Summer Lightening with the forth being unused. There is a grass covered area with some picnic tables to the right of the pub. The service was friendly and the locals were a good laugh. I liked it in here and would have no problem returning.
