The Murrell Arms, Bognor Regis

I paid an impromptu visit to the Murrel Arms on a recent Saturday evening after Southern Fail had cancelled yet another of my scheduled trains. My overriding memory was the amount of curios that covered every available spot of the walls and ceilings. During my visit there was some background music playing for the 15 – 20 locals, two of whom were playing darts. One of the four hand pumps was unused leaving Fuller’s HSB, Pride and Summer Ale as the cask options. A standard keg range was also available alongside Amstel. Out the back is a bamboo hut smoking shelter and a lawn that stretched back into the night. I found the service to be very friendly and I would have no problem returning here for another pint.
