Thorn Inn, Warrington

Visited a couple of weekends ago, after not being here for many years. It definitely seems more food-led than it used to and has possibly had a bit of a refurb since I was last there. It was a nice sunny day so busy outside in the beer garden but less so indoors. I fancied trying the cider but apparently they had a fault with the chiller so none of the draught (keg) beers or ciders were available, so cask it was to be. As is typical of Greene King food led pubs, the cask ale selection was not very exciting, but my two pints of Old Golden Hen slipped down nicely.
