Nicely refurbished but still olde-worlde style pub, on a semi-rural road between Newton and Lowton. lively and bustling pub in the bar area on a Friday evening, the rest of the pub being a popular restaurant (but still fairly traditional in style). Worth a look and the ale was good, without being a selection that will blow anyone away - White Witch, Yorkshire Blonde and Bowland Pheasant Plucker.

A nice olde worlde style pub. Its split into 2 with the bar to the right. This area is more drinky than the room to the left which seems set up mainly for diners. That said, you can eat in the bar area. Wooden beams and pillars are found throughout. The are 4 handpumps on the bar in two banks of two. Not the greatest choice of real ales on though with GK IPA, Wainwright, Theakstons Bitter and Young's Bitter on today. Its a nice looking and comfy country pub. There doesn't seem to be any Greek influence anymore.
