This is more of a food pub then a bar, but ok for a pint if your having a pub crawl around Arundel. Good choice of Fullers ales both on draft and bottled if not a little pricey, but this is Arundel. Not the easiest of pubs to get served but bar staff are very polite.

A formulaic pub I didn't really warm to at all. Stained boarded floor in an L-shaped boarded bar area with what looked like a separate dining area beyond. Framed tennis, football and cricket paraphernalia add a bit of interest, otherwise local framed scenes, a bit of exposed brickwork and a nice Fullers mirror. A couple of metal ads from Fry's chocolate plus another not recorded jazz the place up a bit. Fullers, almost certainly once a Gale's pub, they had HSB, Pride, Seafarer's and Oliver's Island. The HSB was fine, I didn't record the price but the barman was monosyllabic and verging on rude with his indifference. It may be better on another day but for me there are much better options in this small town.
