The Robin Hood, Willenhall

Visited this establishment on a saturday evening, nice little pub, quite for a saturday night i thought, i had a pint of fireside which wasnt the best to be honest, the mild they do wasnt much better, personally i wont be rushing back.

Now owned by Black Country Ales, serving a good selection of cask beers inc. Pig on the Wall, BFG, Fireside and guests.

This pub, which has a board on the outside about being Camra local pub of the year in 1990 and 1991, is out of the way and has suffered from being situated in an area of demolition and road schemes and forgotten about. Hopefully it will survive, its comfortable inside, not large, two rooms surrounding a central bar, the front lounge has a darts board and a few of those 1980's small tables with tree edges. Its nice enough but quiet on a Friday afternoon. Friendly and well kept, the beer was nice - Hopback Summer Lightning, again well kept. Its worth a punt if you are passing through Willenhall & like your beer.
