The Oak Inn, Walsall

A pub that is basic on every level. A simple open plan pub with a central bar and a unique aroma. All white walls and wooden floored. 2 handpumps on the bar with only Backyard Gold on. There were friendly enough people in on this afternoon.

This pub sellswhat is probably the worst pint I have ever tasted and for my sins I have been here more the once and it has been the same every time so I have given up on it now. I think the issue is that it is so quiet that unless you drink larger then it's probably not the freshist of pints.

Was closed, and boarded up, but now thankfully reopen. Had a makeover, but the wonderful round bar in the middle has survived. Karaoke on a Friday night, with a huge array of songs to chose from. And Thursday's is curry night, and I think it's £4.50 for curry, rice and naan and a pint. Think there is a quiz night too.
