White Harte, Stourbridge

A large Marston's pub and eatery, in a cream render and with more front facing gables than you can shake a stick at. There is a patio area. The interior is open plan-ish, with a food area, though you can probably eat anywhere. The decor is the mix of plain colours; red, green and white, with some brown patterned wallpaper and green wood panel - a rainbow. There were exposed beams as well. I ate, i had a mixed grill - it was ok. There were old photos of the area, juxtaposed with arty flower pictures and twigs with lights on them. The service was fine, the music was at a decent level and mixed, there was no TV that i saw and the pub was pretty busy with people eating. Beer; tap stuff, including Banks's MILD and Banks's Bitter and Ringwood Old Thumper on handpull. Both were fine. Not the most exciting of choices for beer, considering some of the other Kinver pubs, but this is more of an eatery really. Use it for the food, or a swifty - well that is of course just my opinion.
