The New Inn, Wordsley, Stourbridge

Typical Bathams pub; the L-shaped bar has been opened out a bit, and this and the rear seating area have been refurbished at some stage, but all parts retain a traditional feel. Unusually, there was a different beer to try here - Coronation Ale (£4.90 with a cheese and onion cob) - in addition to the regular Mild and Bitter.

A well supported locals pub, with good atmosphere on our Friday afternoon visit. The interior is basic and has a central bar area and as expected, the Bathams was flying out over the bar. Prices were excellent and an array of cobs can be purchased whilst supping away.

Always happy to visit a Batham's house and this was no exception. An excellent pint of bitter. No need to add anything else really!
