The Labour in Vain, Stourbridge

The pub's traditional inn sign that hung for more than half-a-century was sacrificed on the altar of political correctness a decade ago. The sign can be seen in this fine photo (c.1920) that I unearthed recently in the town's library. For heritage's sake, I also attach a shot of the last ill-fated sign.
