The Chapel House, Dudley

Down to earth Holdens house with an L shaped bar and counter, traditionally furnished with bench seats, stools, chairs and Britannia tables, decorated with a few prints, mirrors brass nic-nacs and pewter tankards. Pretty much as a pub should be to many. There are some photos of inside the brewery and of some of its directors. There is a set of three pulls on one counter face and two on the other with three beers from Holdens and two guests, my bitter was fine but not outstanding. For some time it was called the Miners Arms, but has reverted to its older name of The Chapel House, a framed newspaper cutting from 1983 tells the story of the name.
