Town Wall Tavern, Coventry

Old fashioned edge of City Centre regulars pub, its a bit quirky with different little areas including the 'donkey box' st the front which is a tiny bar, looks like it used to be an off sales point? It looks like it suffers from its location, surrounded by the concrete back ends and air conditioning of the shops and between here and the collar of the ring road. But its a nice building and adjoining developments underway may mean a new lease of life. Had my first pint of Draught Bass for many a year and this was ok, quite tasty. 5 real ales, including a guest, in this case Slaters Top Totty. Its ok, a bit different, not quite to my taste, but can't quite put my finger on why.
