The Oak Inn, Coventry

Reasonable-looking Mansfield pub from the street, but thoroughly stripped of any real character within the slightly split-level interior with a variety of small seating areas. Basic furniture and decor, with a pool table, (increasingly loud) jukebox and an old-school games console. No real ale, unfortunately, so opted for the feeble Mansfield Smooth (£3.00, since I hardly qualified for the £2.30 student offer).
