Substantial Sizzling pubco outlet in an extended building comprising various seating / dining areas (one slightly raised) - all a bit disjointed with a mix of semi-modern furniture and semi-traditional decor. Unfortunately, none of the three handpumps are in current use, which the apologetic barman explained was because he didn't want to serve a bad pint of real ale or waste beer as demand was low, so resorted to the John Smith's (£3.15).

Large Fuzzy Ed’s which is basically a child-friendly deep-fried “feed the family for a tenner” eatery, with a separate children’s play area. Housed in a 1930’s roadside building, it's actually decent inside - a large brown and magnolia effort with lots of discrete seating areas and in a godd state of repair. No ale available, so a Guinness sufficed. It is what it is and I’ve been in worse examples of the genre.
