The Black Horse Inn, Shipston-On-Stour

The Black Horse Inn is a really nice looking thatched pub that is a short walk from the middle of Shipston on Stour. Once inside there was a lounge to the right this is the room we had a drink in,the floor was tiled and there was a low beamed ceiling,there were wood bench seats around the front with normal tables and chairs in the other areas. There were three real ales on the bar,i had a drink of Wye Valley bitter which was a very nice drink,the other beers were Purity Mad Goose and Butcombe bitter. The pub was quite busy with locals and it had a nice laid back feel to it. This was a decent pub to have a few drinks in. Pub visited 11/5/2013
