The Raven, Rugby

The Raven- Marstons A friendly, unspoilt pub, old fashioned interiors, where cooked meals are available at a very reasonable price but we didn’t have time to sample. It was great to finally find a Marston’s pub, Real ale wise they had Pedigree and Bitter, alongside 2 Bank’s and Ringwood’s Filly Drift, something we had never tried before. For those from the canal, it is a good 25 minute walk along a very busy road into Brinklow, from bridge 30, and you certainly work up a thirst before you get there! 22/09/09
