Copper Pot, Leamington Spa

Comfortable Town centre pub with nice patio area out the back. It was being well utilised on the early afternoon of my visit as there are several separate areas, each of which seemed to have its own screen for the sport and Premiership football was on for my visit. Fortunately, like several others, I’d popped in to watch the game, but if you weren’t interested the wall to wall footy may well be a bit intrusive. GK house and standard GK range and seasonal GK stable guest were on. The IPA was OK and this seemed to be one of the better options close to the shopping area, but not a destination pub by any means.

An ex Hogshead pub now taken over by Greene King. The decor still looks a bit like a Hogshead crossed with a JDW. Lots of high stools and tables around the place with a small raised area to the left as you enter. 4 handpumps on the bar serving ales from the GK range. I had a pint of Golden Hen which was OK to be fair. The other half says that the red wine was just about OK as well. It's not got much character and the few clientele were loud semi-drunk males in suits. We passed this pub 3 times during our visit to Leamington, but only called in once for one. The next twice we walked past. Sums up the pub really.
