The Greyhound, Leamington Spa

A detached corner pub in Georgian style, in white render with black paint work and a patio area The interior is open plan-ish with a bar and lounge area. The lounge had been converted for the evening into a poker arena, with a poker table or two, whilst the bar was populated by bench tables. The décor was white and wood panel, with some flowery wallpaper. There were lots of supporting and ceiling wood beams and a wood floor. Interest was supplied through old bottles and signs, as well as Sky TV in the corner of the bar area showing the footy The service was fine and the clientele mixed, the poker game hadn’t yet started, however, we stood outside for most of the time, while those that did, had a fag. Beer; tap stuff, with real ale, but in a schoolboy error, I neglected to write down choices and quality. Going outside, I didn’t really see the pub as much as I would have liked, but I saw no reason not to return
