The Butchers Arms, Leamington Spa

Didnt see too much of the inside, as it was a glorious day and I chose to take advantage of their beer garden. After an 8 mile walk in near 30 degree heat - a birra moretti hit the spot. Friendly staff and they can rustle up a fine ham salad cob.

Excellent community local in the middle of the village, next to the social club and chippy. The building is nothing special, now knocked through into three-sided arrangement, lounge at one end round to a public bar area and pool table the other, and outdoor seating too. Friendly service and doing a good trade on a weekday afternoon. Long, keenly-priced menu suggests much use of the deep-freeze, but no doubt perfectly good for what it is. Bombardier and Tribute in reasonable shape. I'd be pleased to have this pub as my local.
