Vespa Bar, Primrose Hill, Jarrow

This place was formerly the Robin Hood and was brewery tap for the Jarrow (now Great North Eastern) brewery. I remembering trying to visit here one day not long after the Jarrow brewery had gone out of business. The pub had re-opened as the Robin, but had closed again. Now it is an Italian bar and restaurant, in fact more restaurant than bar. Keg options were Moretti, Corona, Coors Light, Heineken Silver, Cruzcampo, Strongbow Dark Fruit, Inch's, John Smith's & Brixton Reliance Pale Ale. Seating curves around the bar over a couple of rooms. I enjoyed a pizza here, although steaks appear to be the speciality. Not one for the beer purist, but there is at least a little beer history (some of it perhaps quite dark) attached to this place.
