The Dukes Head, Richmond

Delightful back street pub, though the magenta painted woodwork takes a bit of getting used to. Three hand pumps with Young’s, Landlord and Twickenham Naked Ladies - I went for the latter, which was NBSS 4, with my half priced at £3.13, a meticulous minimal rounding from half the price of a pint. A pleasant walk to get here in the spring sunshine.

A remarkably well-kept pub in the quieter residential parts of Richmond Hill (aside from the jets overhead of course).Very smartly decorated and furnished with tables and chairs neatly arranged in rows; even the menus on a shelf were arranged by size. The cask ales on - Youngs Original, London Pride and Proper Job - were not especially exciting but seemed to be in excellent condition, despite the pub having only just opened. Would be happy to drink here.
