The Windmill, Croydon

This is a pleasing traditional pub which has undergone a modern refurbishment, resulting in a local's pub that bears a strong resemblance to a wine bar. Beer wise, there are plenty of lagers to choose from, but only London Pride and one other (Directors? I forget) on the pumps and the Pride I had wasn't worth going back for. Large screens show all the main sporting events which would probably be the main reason for me to visit again, as the atmosphere and banter is pretty good when there's a big game on. They also have a small beer patio out near the car park.
