The Grapes, Stafford

I keep stumbling across these Craft Union pubs and hadn't intended visiting this one but the Floodgate hadn't opened. Craft Union couldn't be a more deceitful name for these pubs which are basically Sports Bars and have as much connection with Craft beers as the Costa coffee chain. This is no exception with TVs everywhere, fairly loud music and an obtrusive pool table. It's roughly an L shaped room that's smaller inside than it looks from outside. Only one of the two hand pumps was in use and this had St Austell Tribute (£2.40) which is cheap but wasn't in that great condition. I can't say that I would return here.

Awful place with only Doombore on draft (which I did not partake of!) Avoid.
