The White Hart, Cannock

A cream rendered and cream painted brick, detached gastro-pub, with beer garden and child's play area. The interior is open plan, a bit soulless as these places are, but i have seen worse. Decor is mustard and clayish colour, with some wood panel and moulded ceiling. Decoration is supplied by an eclectic mix of old photos and sports pictures mainly. There was Sky TV and a dart board. Music was tosh chart stuff, but service was fine, the clientele small and mixed. Beer; Tap tosh, with Hobgoblin, Banks's Bitter and a so-so Banks's MILD on handpull. I would pop in here again from time to time - perhaps it shows how bad Cannock town centre is. The beer choice is ok and the place is just a bit bland - mix it with the Roebuck and the Fern & Fallow, at least you can have a couple of real ale pints.
