The Dearnesman, Rotherham

The Dearnsman is an 80s built pub that was probably built by Mansfield brewery,it is in their style and still has its Mansfield signs outside. Once inside there was a large oblong shaped room to the front,this room looked quite smart with carpets and comfy bench seating and chairs,there was a pool table to the right and a TV to the left showing Grand Prix qualifying,there was a seperate room to the rear which was probably the lounge, i did'nt look in this room. There were no real ales on the bar,i had a drink of Banks's Original which was a decent enough drink,the other beer was Marstons smooth. There was some decent rock music playing in the background. It looked like a youngish couple had just took the pub on,i wish them well in running this pub. Pub visited 7/9/2013
