A large corner terrace building, a mish-mash of brick, stone, half timber and peach render. The interior has two rooms, a bar and lounge and follows the same manic colour schemes with almost every wall in a different colour, or in wallpaper, white wood panel etc. I felt like it was a scene from Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, or i expected Zippy and George to pop up behind the bar to take our order. This is meant more in jest than anything, the place, with its pool table, Sky TV, loudish chart music and cheap food menu is the kind of place you would go to watch a match really - i did once watch an England game here. There are a number of old Chester pictures and there is a nice tiled fireplace, sadly the Man Utd and Liverpool flags left me a little annoyed considering Chester City lounge at the bottom of the Conference with a points deduction - go support your local team. Service was fine and the place well attended by a mix of people. Beer, tap stuff, without the Greenall's MILD now - so wasnt impressed by that. Their real ales were Bombardier and a not too great Wadsworth 6x. All in all, i wouldnt really bother, unless i wanted to watch a game, though, in my view, the beer needs a little attention
