Impressive double fronted corner pub with patio at the back. Bar and lounge (with a snug off it) that really area pretty much the same - it is a food-feel place but the drinker is more than welcome. Mixed clientele and friendly service. Four handpulls with Butty Bach, Wainwright, Hobsons Town Crier and the rarer Bewdley Brewery Red Hill. Had the Red Hill but had past its best but was changed immediately for the Town Crier - which was decent. A tidy place and another good stop off.

Recently reopened after a major refurb , situated at the top of Dawley mainstreet this is a welcome addition to the Dawley pub scene , there are three seperate areas , to the left of the entrance is the bar , its long and narrow , an old fireplace , a few old beams adourned with pumpclips and various old mirrors and adverts make up the decor , the servery is central , the room to the right is of a similar design , to the rear is a conservatory area that leads to a patio . There are six handpulls in the bar and a few others in the other room , five on during my visit with Hobsons Mild , Joules Stumbling Monk , College Green Mollys Choclate Stout and one each from Tring and Cottage , the Mild and Stout were both very good . Staff and locals were friendly , this is a very good pub well worth a visit
