The Glebe, Stoke Central, Stoke-On-Trent

Yes it is a well restored pub and the barmaid was friendly but personally, the Joules beer was not to my taste.

The Glebe is a victorian corner pub that is a short distance from Stoke train station,the pub is quite close to the A500 queensway which cuts through the middle of Stoke and lead to the demise of quite a few old pubs. When i first went in this pub it was a Banks's tied house with a decent drink of Banks's bitter and mild on the bar. The pub looks in better condition now under the Joules brewery banner that it did all those years ago. Pub first visited 17/9/1983 Photo taken 12/1/2013
