The Glebe, Stoke Central, Stoke-On-Trent

A good pub. Only Joules ales available though on this visit. Lots of wooden features and old photos/posters on the walls plus some poor gazelles head.

My second Joule's pub of the day turned out to be another old pub that has been well restored. It's all knocked into a single room now but some nice old tiling probably reveals where the public bar would have been. The rest of the pub had wooden floors. It was quiet on my Saturday evening visit, although the Cup Final was going on and mercifully this pub didn't have a TV on. The beer selection here was restricted to just the three regular Joule's beers although there was also a cider. I went for the Joule's Pale which was around the three quid mark and was in excellent condition. It's GBG 2015 listed.
