The Beehive, Stoke-On-Trent

The Beehive Inn is a small white painted pub that is a short walk downhill from the White Lion. Once inside there was a small basic bar to the left,this was a squarish room with the bar facing,the seating was narrow bench type and small stools,the tables were copper topped,there was a small TV showing Stoke v Chelsea the commentary was in German,there was a seperate lounge to the right which was a bit bigger than the bar but this room was packed with Stoke fans watching the game on a large screen. The pub is a Marstons tied house and there were three real ales on the bar,i had a drink of Marstons bitter which was a very nice well kept beer,the other beers were Pedigree and Jennings Cocker Hoop. This is a locals pub with a strong Stoke following. Pub visited 12/1/2013
