The Ashwood, Stoke-On-Trent

The Ashwood is a typical 60s built estate pub that is hidden away just off anchor road on wood street. Once inside i went into a longish room that was carpeted and had bench seating and small stools,the room seemed dimly lit. There were 6 pumps on the bar all unclipped,the keg bitter was M&B Brew X1 which was a lot better than John Smiths smooth crap. This is a locals pub but i was happy enough having a drink in here.
