Belle Vue Tavern, Belle Vue, Shrewsbury

A nice pub out of the town centre. Various areas to sit, including one room where you will have a drink with a cockateel. 4 handpumps on the bar but sadly only Bass Bitter on. A pleasant enough place even with the poor ale selection today.

Pub is pretty much as described in previous review , long and thin opening out at each end , usual keg taps and three on handpull , Bass , Theakstons Old Peculier and an OK Caladonian Flying Scotsman , pretty quiet in here on my visit compared to nearby pubs , service was OK although the barmaid seemed disintrested , biggest gripe was all the signs advertising Shropshire Ales Available and not one was . Pity the old pub sign decipting some old regulars has been replaced by one featuring the Loggerheads. Its OK in here but seems to have gone downhill a bit
