The George, Bridgnorth

The George is a large looking pub that is handily placed at the bottom of the station approach road. Once inside the main bar room is to the front and is squarish shaped with the bar facing,the floor is carpeted,the seating is pew seats and normal tables and chairs and tables with small stools. There were four real ales on the bar,i had a drink of Salopian Lemon Dream,which was a decent drink,the other real ales were Hobsons Town Crier,Thwaites Wainwright and Brakspear Oxford Gold. There is a separate dining room up two steps to the rear. Background music was playing. This is a smart and comfortable pub to have a drink in. Pub visited 29/4/2017

Friendly pub opposite the SVR , modern in style , very fod led . Service was good with the usual kegs and a mixture of Marstons and local micros on handpull , my Hobsons Town Crier was very good . Another decent pub in a town with plenty of good pubs .
