Gardeners Arms, Oxford

The lesser known of the two pubs in the Jericho area sharing the same name, this one is an attractive side-street establishment with quite a narrow but elongated interior in three parts. The lounge area can be found at the front, with the bar in the centre and a further seating in a partly opened-out section at the back. Four cask ales - Chadlington's Bruern Gold (£5.20), a pair from Green Duck and the Shadow of Darkness from 'IS' (actually Disruption is Brewing) - and a pair of ciders being served from the six handpumps.
