The Colonel Burnaby, Radford, Nottingham

The Colonel Burnaby is one of a few of Radfords pubs that is still up and running. When i first went in this pub it was called the Penny Farthing,this was not its original name but was renamed by Whitbread who ran the pub at the time on my first visit. Once inside there is now no Whitbread Tankard on the bar but a real ale which surprised me. There is now a single L shaped room with the bar facing,there was a TV to the left showing the Spurs V Arsenal game,there is a pool table to the right and a darts board to the rear right,the room is carpeted and has comfy bench seating and chairs. There are three pumps on the bar with one in use,i had a drink of Falstaff 3 Faze which was a very nice drink. The pub was very busy with a mixed bunch of drinkers. I was quite happy having a drink in this pub. Pub first visited 2/7/1982 Recent visit 7/2/2015
