called in to view the second half of the lunchtme Saturday early footy kick off and was pleasantly surprised to see an interesting assortment of cask beers on show,with the Hobgoblin being spot on as it invariably is.

Situated at the back of the Ice Arena. A good all round pub this one, friendly staff and clean and tidy. Four ales on when visited, I went for the Flipside Chocolate Penny which when explained to me wasn't a chocolate tasting beer, more of a roasted malt taste and so it was pretty ok. Harvest Pale was on special offer at £2.15 a pint before 6pm daily. Would call again.

This pub was converted from bank premises about 20 years ago. The Bunkers as always sold lots of real ales from micro brewerys,the pub is one room that is quite sparsley decorated there are no carpets,there is also a room upstairs which can be used for meetings ect. There are about 10 handpumps on the bar and the beer is always on top form. This is a decent pub to have a few drinks of decent beer in but its not that comfy to stay all night.
