Brewhouse & Kitchen, Meadows, Nottingham

This pub was originally called the Town Arms but over the years it has had a few different names. The pub is situated almost on trent bridge and the main entrance is now at the side,there are some covered seating areas outside and there is also a bar which is probably used when Forest are at home. Once inside the bar faces and there is a decent sized L shaped room which has got a tiled floor,most of the seating is tall tables and chairs but there is a raised area around the edge of the room which has leather bench seating,in this area there was a small stage which had drums and looked like it was set up for a group to play probably later that day. There is a seperate restaurant to the left which is in the modern addition to the pub. There were two real ales on the bar and i had a drink of GK Rocking Rudoplh which was a decent drink but nowhere as good as the Kimberley brewed beer,the other beer was GK IPA. Not really my sort of pub but ok for a quick half. Pub visited 21/12/2011
