The Wheatsheaf, Northampton

At long last - a friendly family pub is back in the heart of the village! Such a good way to end the week in a cosy bar with the log fire burning and warm reception from the staff. Excellent value for money around £40 for a family of four complete with puddings (my hubby had 2) I had the best ribeye steak ever in a mouthwatering pepper sauce, fantastic! The new chef has made a huge impression and the new owners have obviously put a lot of effort in getting the premises and garden shipshape. The Wheatsheaf is definately back on the map.
