The George Hotel, Whitby

Interesting split level hotel bar covering the bottom floor of the building. Castle like stone walled top area with different seating, including some park benching looking over he rear street. The bar area is a step down. Funky coloured lighting and decoration, a real mix but a nice place. 3 real ales, including Greene King & Abbot & then their own branded keg lager & bitter at low alcohol levels. Big screen sports. Probably a 7.5 but the beer is kept well.
