Its a must to call in after the walk up the hill had some money spent on it since our last visit nice enclosed beer garden out the back. Staff have always been good

Been in on a number of occasions with my dog, found the staff both well mannered and always give her water. I was in the pub when the other reviewer s incident occurred, I think by the abusive and personal nature of the post you can see what " the fat barman " was attempting to deal with. The pub is dog friendly and I believe the offending cat has now left, great cask ales too.

The Little Angel has had a refurb and the ale range extended.

This place was worse than two years ago - again yes, if it wasn't for the Elsinore of the road I wouldn't have gone anywhere near the place. Beer kept very poorly - only Tetleys on hand pumped - my mate left his. Staff more interested in keeping the locals served - be ready to wait 5 minutes for them to save their mates, and I guess longer if it's busy.

Visited twice over the weekend, in the day and evening. It is a large place, with the exterior having a nice white rendered look, with Georgian style windows. The interior is open plan, with a tv area. It has a wood floor and thick white artex, which gives a 70s feel. The service was ok, clientele mixed in dress as in age - a Goth and rock kind of place. Sadly, the beer was simply the usual stuff, with Tetley and Adnams Bitters on handpull, so no wow factor there. All in all, after latest trip, i would bother only for the fact that the Elsinore was over the road.
