The Yorkshire Rose, Skipton

Very food oriented in one open plan room. 5 pulls of varied guests and local favourites inc Doombar Robinsons and Tetleys. Beer quality was better than ok but lunchtime drinking wasn't good due to foody smells, family friendliness and a café atmosphere. Nice informative map based décor on one wall with basic old photos and adverts for food offers elsewhere. Big screen available. Probably better when drinking adults use it at night.

Called in had to wait for the girl to get of her lap top had a quick half and left it used to be ok but i was the only one in and a young girl that was not bothered

This is an oldish looking pub not far from the canal. There was only one real ale on here which was Tetley bitter this was a decent enough drink. I did'nt like this pub that much but car'nt put my finger on why i dont like it.
