The New George, Scarborough

When i first went in this pub it was called the George Hotel and the pub had a small frontage,but since then the pub has altered quite a bit with a large new front and New added onto the George. Once inside there was one largish room that was well furnished and comfortable enough if drinking a dinner time,there were no real ales on the bar and the keg bitter was John Smiths smooth rubbish. This was not one of my favourite pubs in Scarborough. Pub visited 27/8/2003
