The Sun, Pickering

I was greated with a lovely warm welcome from the owners, staff and locals when I visited the Sun Inn for the first time quite recently. There was some great live music on as there always seems to be on a Sunday and excellent choice in wines and ales. If you haven't been before, give it a try and if you have n didnt have a good time it must have been before the new management took over. One n All need to get down to the Sun Inn.x

The pub just keeps getting better... a dedicated tetleys and leeds pump then three guest real ales all from yorkshire! Its family, dog and smoker friendly n they have loads of activities going on.. weekly sunday afternoon gigs in the HUGE beer garden, petanque courts, quizes, jam sessions, vinyl nights, wine tastings n meet the brewer nights to name a few. Theres even a local guy who bakes bread with the beer ullage ands sells it in the pub for charity.... what more could u ask, beer bread and friendly people to talk to.... fab!

New owners took over mid2010. Great improvement. Tetley Cask always available plus up to 3 yorkshire ales of varying styles. Welcoming to strangers who behave.
