The Red Lion, Norwich

The Red Lion is a stand alone pub that is situated next to bishops bridge and the River Wensum. Once inside there was a large L shaped room which was carpeted and had normal tables and chairs,there was a small dining area to the rear right which had a tiled floor,there was also a consevatory off this area,this room had good views over the river. There is plenty of outside seating with picnic tables at the front and side which overlooks the river. There were three real ales on the bar with three pumps with their clips turned round,i had a drink of Humpty Dumpty Little Sharpie and this was a really nice well kept beer,the other beers were Woodforde's Wherry and Grants 3.1.6. The pubs decor seemed a bit tired,but i still enjoyed my time here. Pub visited 30/6/2012
